About Junior Kelly
Keith Morgan (born September 23, 1970, Kingston, Jamaica), better known as Junior Kelly, is a celebrated Jamaican reggae artist behind many international hits.
Growing up in humble circumstances, Kelly was introduced to music through his older brother “Jim Kelly,” a DJ with the Killamanjaro sound system. Tragedy struck when Jim Kelly was fatally shot near their home, and Keith was just 13 years old.
In the mid-1980s, inspired by his brother’s legacy, he began singing with local sound systems and adopted the name Junior Kelly. Since launching his solo career in 1993, he has risen to become one of reggae’s most respected voices.
About Etana
Shauna Gaye Melissa McKenzie (born May 22, 1984), known professionally as Etana, is a Grammy-nominated Jamaican reggae singer. Her debut studio album, The Strong One, was released in June 2008. She has been nominated for the 61st and 64th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in the August Town community of Saint Andrew, Etana is the only girl in a family of boys. Her vocal gift was discovered at the age of eight when she was overheard singing along to a 1991 hit by Air Supply.
In 1992, she migrated to the United States, later studying at Broward Community College with the intention of becoming a registered nurse—before deciding to fully pursue music.
